Fortune Cookie wisdom or prophecy…
After eating meals, usually Asian food, we get a small sugar treat with a piece of paper inside of it. The fortune cookie and its contents. We enjoy reading the “wisdom” or “prophecy” it may hold inside of it. Why? Mainly, because humans hope, we want to hope for better things for ourselves. It’s a small positive affirmation in our daily life.
Here is one I got recently, “Seize every second of your life and savor it.”
