My goal for The Science and Practice of Yoga class

Hello everyone! I have enrolled in the online course “The Science and Practice of Yoga” at .edx and I am excited to expand my Yoga learning.

As some of you might know I have been practicing stretchering and meditation for several months now. I am happy to report my progress that I am now able to sit still and do my best to meditate for 30 minutes at a time. Yes, my legs still fall asleep but I am happy with my progress.

Now I am taking the class to learn some of the poses, theory, and techniques to increase my awareness.

    Your goal is inspiring to me! I also hope to continue with a regular practice of yoga, as well as mindfulness meditation. I learned about both decades ago! However, never really knew exactly what the researched benefits were. Although, my personal benefits were many. I haven’t been as diligent about sticking to a schedule, or making these practices a priority.
