I went to the Dallas State Fair this weekend. I made the four hour drive to Dallas, Texas with my nephew and brother. I do my best to go to the State Fair each year. It is the biggest fair in Texas and possibly the funnest.

There are rides, tons of free shows, live music, plenty of photo taking opportunities, and lots of great food. The fair has come to be know as the place to get anything fried. Fried ice cream, fried butter, fried anything-you-can-think of…

We rode a few rides, watched a few shows, and played a few games. Did I mention that we walked, and walked, and walked???

I had a funnel cake and played my favorite game: the rope ladder.

It was a great time with my family and everything seemed to fall in place just perfectly.
